What is the Sezzle Virtual Card and how do I sign up?
When you sign up and are approved for the Sezzle Virtual Card, we let you know right away what your limit is – we calculate your limit based on a soft credit check, as well as the information you provide at sign-up. Your credit score is not affected by this soft credit check.
The Sezzle Virtual Card allows you to purchase from select retailers online and in-store, with only 25% of the order total due up-front. When you use your Sezzle Virtual Card, the total order amount will be divided into four equal payments, spread out over six weeks total. Your first payment is due at the time of checkout and will be charged to the default payment method linked to your Sezzle account. The remaining three payments will be scheduled over the course of six weeks, with a payment due every two weeks.
How do I sign up?
If you’re new to Sezzle, you’ll need to first download the Sezzle app and set up a Sezzle account. Please have your mobile phone and a payment method (credit/debit card or bank account information) handy, as you’ll need these to successfully configure your account. Once you have the app downloaded, we’ll walk you through the sign-up process.
If you already have a Sezzle account (or have now signed up for one), all you need to do is log in to your account through the Sezzle app and select the “Sezzle Card” tab. We’ll then take you step-by-step through the process of getting a virtual card. Once you are approved for your virtual card, you will immediately see your spending power displayed at the top of the page. This is how much you will have available to spend using your Sezzle Virtual Card.

How do I use the Sezzle Virtual Card?
You can use your Sezzle Virtual Card to place orders either online, or in-store using a virtual wallet like Apple Pay or Google Pay at select retailers. To view which retailers currently accept your Sezzle Virtual Card, simply login to the Sezzle mobile app, and navigate to the “Sezzle Card” tab.
To place an order online, enter your Sezzle Virtual Card information at checkout, similar to any other payment card.
To access your card number, expiration date, and security code, you can either log into the Sezzle app and select the "Sezzle Card" tab or log in to your Sezzle dashboard through a web browser and select “Use Your Sezzle Virtual Card.” To avoid errors when entering your card information, we recommend using the copy function available and pasting the information into the merchant’s checkout page.
Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email from Sezzle. You can then log into your account to view your payment dates and amounts.
To pay in-store, you’ll need to first add your virtual card to either Google Pay or Apple Pay, depending on which you prefer. Once your card has been added, you can then use it at checkout just like any other virtual card – it can be as simple as unlocking and then tapping your phone on the payment terminal.

Once you have your wallet set up, you’ll then use the Sezzle App to quickly add your Sezzle Virtual Card. If you don't already have the Sezzle app, you can find it in either the Play Store or the App Store. To add your Sezzle Virtual Card to Apple Pay or Google Pay, log in to the Sezzle app, select the “Sezzle Card” tab, and then the "Add to Wallet" button below the card image. You’ll then be walked through any final steps to configure the card to the correct wallet.
When the Sezzle Virtual Card is added to your wallet, you’re all set to start using your Sezzle Virtual Card in-stores!
