How is the S-Lift different from other facelift procedures?

The S-Lift uses an “S” shaped incision in front of the ears to lift skin and gently reposition it for a more youthful facial profile.  A special anesthetic solution helps the skin separate from underlying tissue to make the repositioning easier.  S-Lift results are said to be more natural and patients enjoy a quicker recovery and fewer complication risks.

What can I expect during endoscopic facelift recovery?
After an endoscopic full facelift, patients can expect some bruising and swelling but not as much as with a traditional facelift.  Because the incisions used in an endoscopic facelift are smaller than in a traditional facelift, patients will enjoy a quicker recovery time and can be back to work within a week or according to your doctor’s instructions.  With this technique, there is reduced bleeding also.

What happens during a midface lift procedure?
Your facelift surgeon will make tiny incisions along the hairline and possibly inside the mouth.  The cheek pads will be repositioned to a higher, more youthful-looking placement.  Any wrinkling or creasing around the mouth or nasolabial folds will be smoothed in the process.  An endoscopic midface lift is done as an outpatient procedure and takes 1 – 2 hours.
